Grain : Grain is straight to interlocked, with a medium to coarse texture. Good natural luster and a high degree of chatoyancy.
Color : Heartwood ranges from pale pink to a deeper reddish brown, sometimes with streaks of medium to dark reddish brown.
Common Uses : Commonly utilized for a variety of applications including crafting, trim and molding, veneers, scroll saw work, panel backing, laminating, shimming, edge banding, model making, and repairs.
