This kiln-dried Santos Mahogany (Cabreuva) lumber blank is specifically chosen for cutting board construction. Rich reddish-brown color with subtle figuring that darkens beautifully with age. The 3/4" thickness is the industry standard for edge-grain and end-grain boards, with moisture content stabilized at 6-8% to prevent warping after glue-up.
