Often compared to the finest mahogany, Black Limba (also known as Korina) is celebrated for its excellent, live tap tone. It offers a rich, warm sound with a beautifully pronounced midrange, clear trebles, and superb sustain. It is slightly more open and articulate than traditional mahogany, making it an incredibly responsive choice for both fingerstyle and flatpicking instruments.

Luthier's Notes: This set is properly dried and seasoned for maximum structural stability. Black Limba is a joy to work in the shop—it bends exceptionally well with heat and steam, glues cleanly, and accepts pore fillers and clear finishes beautifully.
