Mexican Royal Ebony/Katalox Bridge Blanks
Katalox (articulated “feline ah-losh”) is a thick, hard Central American wood that is like Ebony. The shading is dim darker to almost dark with unobtrusive red/purple features. Martin Guitar has utilized Katalox fingerboards on a few of their guitar models. With a touch of oil, we feel that this wood would be extremely hard to separate from Ebony.
